Cracking Down On Looters Is Now Racist…

The Miami Police Department told it the way it was when it issued a no-nonsense message to the looters emerging to plunder the city’s shops after Hurricane Irma struck the city.

Writer Sarah Jaffe, however, issued a sharp retort to the police via Twitter, linking private property with racism.

“good morning, the carceral state exists to protect private property and is inseparable from white supremacy,” she tweeted, spurring a Twitter backlash.

That backlash, she later tweeted, confirmed to her that her responses were sent by “Nazis.”

Miami police had issued a tweet that read, “Thinking about looting? Ask these guys how that turned out. #stayindoors.”

The police also shared a photo of men in a jail cell.

Irma spawned an outbreak of looting in its wake, and Florida was no exception.

Fort Lauderdale’s police department was aggressive about posting images on Twitter of those arrested for looting.

“Going to prison over a pair of sneakers is a fairly bad life choice,” Police Chief Rick Maglione said in a statement. “Stay home and look after your loved ones and be thankful they are all safe.”

Some said the cries of racism were about those crying ‘race’ seeking fame.

“Apparently … discussing looting now makes you a racist,” said former Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino.

Bongino said liberals defend looters because their livelihoods are “based off clickbait.”

Bongino said if wannabe writers can cry racism loudly enough, “some idiot is going to click on (their) article.”

Bongino said sympathizers see it as “not the criminals’ fault, it’s society’s fault. If we were a little more socialist and communist, or better planners, we (supposedly) wouldn’t have this problem.”
